Home Depot Securelock/Versatrack Universal Mounting System

Home Depot's Securelock system (same as Sears Versatrack) has a Universal Mount Kit, which lets you mount just about anything with keyhole screw mounting holes on your Gladiator or Versatrack. Useful for sprinkler boxes, battery chargers, clocks etc. For only $3, the kit comes with 3 mounts, screws, and one extension for larger objects.


This is what the mount looks like from the side...the plastic is lighter weight but sturdy enough...

Fits pretty much any keyhole mount. My Sirius Signal Repeater will need 2 mounts however. It will look sharp when I install Gearwall above my workbench.






A mount and extension (included in the kit) was used to hang my sprinkler box. Not bad.

    I picked up 3 of these yesterday, took one out and it snapped right in the gearwall nice and tight! Thanks for posting this, Matt!

      Cool. Im glad it helped. This is the best thing about setting up a blog like this. May I ask what did you hang up with the kit? Just wondering...

      I have to work on installing the remaining GearWall this spring/summer...Hearing about what people are doing keeps me going...

      Unfortunately Home Depot does not stock this item anymore; a few months ago I saw them on clearance. Other people on websites such as Slickdeals have seen these on clearance too. You may want to check out the Husky garage storage section and see if you can get lucky. If I see any at my HD the next time I might stock up and let you know...good luck.
